The front shock towers on an E46 are a known weak point.
BMW know this and offer reinforcement plates, but with a BMW premium price tag to match. We offer this set of reinforcement plates for less than half the cost of the genuine items.
Flexing from the suspensions articulation and hits from rough roads can fatigue the metal over the years can cause them to mushroom, or even crack and fail.
Fitting stiffer shocks or coilovers to an E46 can accelerate this problem.
Our steel front shock mount reinforcements fit under the strut tower, on top of the strut, more than tripling the thickness.
Recommended for all BMW E46’s, a must for tracked cars and hoons.
Made from 3mm Gr250 steel right here in Brisbane, and powder coated satin black.
