The E30 trailing arms are not as good as they could be.

BMW knew this as they updated and strengthened them in the later Z4M models.

The problem was twofold: They simply flex too much, and the rear swaybar mounting point is prone to bending or even cracking, especially with upgraded swaybars.

We address these issues by firstly adding a heavy duty reinforcement to the swaybar mounting point.

Then the arms are gusseted along almost their whole length, greatly increasing rigidity.

Finally the hub area is braced laterally from the shock mounting point, to the main part of the trailing arm, further increasing the trailing arms stiffness.

After reinforcement, the trailing arms are sandblasted and powder coated in your choice of colour. We can do custom colours! Shoot us an email with your ideas!

We offer 3 options for this service.

1. You ship/drop off your straight trailing arms and we ship you our reinforced one. (no core deposit charged)
2.  You purchase our ready to go pair of trailing arms, (you will be charged a $100 core deposit up front) and once we receive your straight trailing arms back, we will refund you the core deposit amount. This saves having your car off the road whilst the magic happens.
3. You can purchase our ready to go pair of trailing arms outright if you do not wish to send us your core. ($100 core supply charge)

Options 2 and 3 will add 3-4 days turn around time.

There is quite a bit of labour involved in stripping the brakes/ bearing hubs and pressing the bushes out of these arms, if you require us to do this for you, there will be an extra $50 charge.
