The sheet metal supporting the rear shock mounts in an E46 are a known weak point.
Flexing from the suspensions articulation and hits from rough roads can fatigue the metal over the years can cause them to crack, weaken and fail.
Fitting stiffer shocks to an E46 can accelerate this problem.
Our steel rear shock mount reinforcements fit to the top of the strut tower spread the load over a much larger area than the E46 ever had.
Recommended for all BMW E46’s, a must for tracked cars and hoons.
Made from 3mm 316 stainless steel right here in Brisbane
Fits E46 inc M3.
